Metaphysics a.k.a Herbert Qwela Schwamborn Born on the 8th of December in Mbare, Harare, Zimbabwe, to a German father and a Zimbabwean mother, Metaphysics is one of Africa's most well known MC's. Having formed his first rap crew in 1985 together with Tel a Ryme, the group was known as Lethal Language, and had even been featured in The Source Magazine's Unsigned Hype section in 1989. The two parted ways and Metaphysics (then known as Qwela tha Brainchild) initiated Zimbabwe's first well known afro hip-hop group A Peace Of Ebony in 1991, along with fellow rapper Tony Chihota, Producer Keith Farquharson and Singer/Songstress Chiwoniso Maraire. Kataklizim released their self-tited debut in Zimbabwe in 1996. The first single to the album "Night N Day" was well received and the video got played on Channel O.

Bio - Canibus helped me understand the Battle mechanics and later Jay-z would show me the flow of the century, but my true growth as an Emcee came from my brother who was not only my motivation but my competition. I remember when i was younger, I would always wish I could write a verse were my brother would be impressed, funny thing is that it took me 17 years to do it, but that just proves my motivation.

Mafriq:It was derived from My Africa. It embodies our mission statement that is: to make music for Africa, music with African roots.2Tunga and Lovedale were part of a group called Network H2O,the group split after Rocqui went solo,we then met Pauline to form a group called Absolute,later changed it to M’afriq in 2001. Our first project was called (pangu pangu) then we worked on (without you) and (city hoza),all songs were played on radio however non of them were hits like Ndokuudza sei?.We are all songwriters and It depends who comes up with what idea,we all contribute to an idea until a song is born.We only do songwriting and singing. We have worked with producers who know our style and they contribute to the songs,We have been consistent with Take5 and Roki and we also hope to work With (Native) Flash and a young boy called Don.

Rockford Josphat a.k.a Roki : I was born into music. My uncle Kenny of the legendary Bhundu Boys taught me a lot from an early age,When I was eight I started to learn how to produce music. Dizzy Dee a.k.a Desire Sibanda is one of the best upcoming reggae artists to step on the Australian reggae scene. Originally from Zimbabwe he has worked and shared stages all over the Pacific with big names in the industry including the likes of Luciano, Jah Mason, Mikey General (Jamaica) Rodney P & Skitz (U.K) just to name a few. Dizzy Dee has done heaps of solos and more with his long time partner Rebel Child back in Zimbabwe. He featured on the Kunta Riddim produced by Tony Fresh (Chitungwiza)in 2004 and has shared stages with Maskiri, Madzibaba, Snyper back in Zimbabwe (2004-2006)

Lungisani "SANII" Makhalima, the younger brother of Galaxy Entertainment producer Delani Makhalima, Born in Harare , Makhalima took up music at a very tender age. “I developed a keen interest in music when I was nine years old,” Makhalima said. “It was after my brother (Delani) bought a keyboard from a friend. Tawanda Norman Makombe A.K.A Snaka Dread is conscious reggae singer and deejay. Born in Mbare , the ghetto suburbs of Harare , Zimbabwe s capital. His music career is just taking off atfer featuring on the Konzeresa album from various Zimbabwean artists in diaspora and back home. Cee Jay is a producer/rapper/singer based in Dallas TX. Raised In Belvedere and been specializing in music since high school. He is the label head of Rude Boy Entertainment and promoter of live shows of other artists including TKZee and Tuku amongst others. Based in Dallas and produces various acts in hip hop, reggae, gospel, R&B, drum 'n' bass and soul. He's a scout for new talent and a great new artist is currently recording a CD for 2006 which is some of the best work in music for Rude Boy thus far. Lazarus boora a.k.a Gringo was born in Harare. He attended Mutare Teacher's college and studied drama. Later on he went to the University of Zimbabwe where he studied theatre and dance. He appeared on his first TV commercial for a beer commercial of Castle Lager. He later on worked for Joy TV and he appeared on some African TV shows. He was later interviewed for Gringo the Series.

Cynthia Maideyi Muvirimi is a Zimbabwean-born model who represented Zimbabwe in the Miss World 2008 pageant.The twelfth of thirteen children, Muvirimi was born in Harare on the May 22, 1983. She attended Cecil John Rhodes Junior School and went onto Thornhill High, both in Gweru, Zimbabwe. Muvirimi received a diploma in Nursing and an Honorary Bachelor of Science degree from London Southbank University.Muvirimi has participated in pageants since her high school days. In 1999, she was named Miss Thornhill High and later that year she went on to win the Miss Midlands Schools title.Muvirimi was 1st runner-up in the UK-based Miss Malaika 2006 pageant. She also participated in the Miss Inter-Continental 2006 pageant.On June 3, 2007, at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica, Muvirimi won the title of Miss Global International, and in December of that same year, she won the title of Miss Tourism Zimbabwe, earning a shot at the 2008 Miss World final title in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 13, 2008.
